General Local Bus News:
Penn Road Wolverhampton - services 255/256: due to major roadworks on Penn Road, Wolverhampton, services 255/256 will be subject to diversion and possible delays on journeys outbound from Wolverhampton. This is expected to last until early September.
Kinver Evening Service 227: from 5 September 2010, some evening journeys, Monday-Thursday, will be withdrawn. On Mon-Thurs evenings, the last departure from Stourbridge TO Kinver will be at 1945. The last departure from Kinver TO Stourbridge will be at 1908.
On Friday & Saturday evenings there will be departures from Stourbridge to Kinver up until 2245 and from Kinver to Stourbridge up until 2308.
There is no change to the daytime service 228 between Stourbridge - Kinver.

BUS SERVICE CHANGES FROM 25 JULY 2010:
9 Stourbridge - Birmingham: Diamond will not operate any services on this route. National Express West Midlands services will be mostly unchanged, although will run to a slightly amended "summer timetable" until 29 August. (The service will be operated from Pensnett Garage for any lost property enquiries).
141 Merry Hill - Birmingham: some changes to early morning, evening and Sunday timetable. Re-routed in Blackheath to serve Sainsburys.
205 Blackheath - Kingswinford: minor changes to early / late journeys.
206 & 207 Dudley - Wrens Nest Estate Circulars: withdrawn - replaced by diversions of services 283, 544, 581.
222 Dudley - Halesowen: re-routed in Merry Hill via The Boulevard instead of Mount Pleasant. also re-routed via Old Hill Rail Station instead of Halesowen Road.
243 Dudley - Timbertree Estate: extended to Merry Hill. Service reduced from 15 to 20 min. frequency.
254 Merry Hill - Wolverhampton: will operate Merry Hill to Wallheath only, operating a loop of Kidderminster Road, Swindon Road and Enville Road at Wallheath.
255 Merry Hill - Wolverhampton: diverted via Planks Lane in Wombourne to cover section of 254 route withdrawn.
256 Stourbridge - Wolverhampton: timetable revised with running time increased.
257 Stourbridge - Dudley: timetable revised with running tim increased. 1820 departure from Dudley will terminate at Kingswinford.
259 Stourbridge - Wallheath: withdrawn. 256 & 257 cover same route between Stourbridge and Wallheath.
276 Stourbridge - Dudley: Mon-Sat daytime journeys extend from Stourbridge to Wollaston / High Park in place of 294/295. Evening 294/295 services remain unchanged.
Route also revised between Stourbridge Bus Station and Stourbridge Junction - will operate via Worcester Street, Heath Lane and Glasshouse Hill. Redhill will no longer be served.
283 Merry Hill - Bilston: replaced by new 583.
287 Stourbridge - Merry Hill: New service replacing 297 between Stourbridge - Merry Hill. Operated by Hansons, running to same timetable as old 297. 297 will run Merry Hill - Dudley only.
294/5 Stourbridge - Wollaston/High Park Circulars: replaced Mon-Sat daytimes by extension of service 276 to/from Stourbridge. Evening services remain unchanged.
297 Stourbridge - Dudley: 297 will operate Merry Hill - Dudley only. Section of route Stourbridge - Merry Hill will be operated by Hansons and numbered 287 running to the same timetable.
541 / 541A Dudley - Wolverhampton: replaced by new service 527.
544 Dudley - Wolverhampton: withdrawn - replaced by new service 582.
581 Dudley - Wolverhampton: re-routed in Dudley to operate Limes Road instead of Hazel Road. Daytime timetable revised.
582 Dudley - Bilston **NEW SERVICE**: re-numbering of old 544, curtailed at Bilston. Bilston - Wolverhampton service covered by new 583. Re-routed via Limes Road instead of Hazel Road in Dudley.
583 Merry Hill - Wolverhampton **NEW SERVICE**: re-numbering of old 283, extended from Bilston to Wolverhampton via old 544 route. Revised route in Woodsetton.
X96 Wollaston - Dudley: new evening service added between Merry Hill - Dudley.

Kinver High Street Roadworks:
During ongoing roadworks in Kinver, the following diversions will be in operation:
227/228 to Stourbridge / Merry Hill -
Due to ongoing road works, services will NOT be able to serve Dunsley Road, Mill Lane or Kinver High Street until further notice.
Services will operate from Stewponey Traffic Lights via Bridgnorth Road, Hyde Lane and Enville Road to Meddins Lane, then via the White Hill loop as normal.
On departure from White Hill, buses will operate via Meddins Lane, Enville Road, Hyde Lane and Bridgnorth Road to Stewponey Traffic Lights, then via normal line of route.
The nearest bus stop for passengers requiring Kinver High Street will be at the junction of Meddins Lane or the White Hill terminus.

Wolverhampton: The bus station was closed from 4th April 2010 for rebuilding. This is estimated to take up to 18 months.
Services 255 & 256 (to/from Merry Hill / Stourbridge) will load in Queen Street (new temporary stop ZG) as well as existing stops in Victoria Street (CC, CD) and Worcester Street (CJ)

New Stourbridge - Kidderminster - Bridgnorth Bus Service:
